About
Professional harpist Sharon Carroll provides a music service for church weddings, civil wedding ceremonies, private functions and corporate events. She has performed throughout Ireland, the UK, Germany and Italy. Her playing has impressed many V.I.Ps including members of the royal family, politicians and celebrities as well as beautifully set the scene at small intimate wedding ceremonies and events.

The Music
Learning the harp from an early age, Sharon has always had a talent and affinity for the harp. She prides herself in delivering a high standard of performance with impeccable presentation, flawless technique and innate musicality. Her repertoire includes a wide selection of traditional Irish music along with popular and classical pieces. Sharon’s recent album has received excellent reviews. It is a timeless collection of harp music telling the story of the harp through time.
Harp Teacher
Sharon is also an experienced harp teacher and the Director of the Carroll School of Harp based in Newry, Co.Down. She works with many budding young (and not so young harpists) to help them develop and grow as musicians. Her method of teaching allows pupils to gain confidence quickly to perfect the necessary skills required to play the most complicated pieces with ease, grace and the utmost enjoyment.

Weddings
The Wedding Ceremony
Beautiful harp music throughout the ceremony including as your guests arrive. Sharon's harp playing will create the most amazing romantic moment by playing you down the aisle, during the signing of the register and the celebratory exit.
The Wedding Reception
As you have your newly wed photographs taken, Sharon will entertin your guests at the drinks reception. This includes two hours of haunting Irish airs, jigs and reels as well as popular and classical harp music for your guests as they relax before the meal.
The Wedding Meal
This is the perfect time for you (the newlyweds) and your guests to listen, relax and enjoy your meal while Sharon provides an elegant dining experience. Sharon will play from a wide selection of airs from Irish traditional, classical and popular music genres.
